Privacy policy
What information this website collects, why, and how it is protected.
Who is responsible
Duhok Automation, Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. For any question about your data, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail (see the Contact page).
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, the quote request, the cart, a calculator quotation or the review form, we receive the details you enter: name, phone number, optionally e-mail address and city, your message or requirements, photos you attach, and the items or calculator inputs of your request. We use them only to answer you, prepare quotations and deliver the work. Review texts are published only after our team approves them; your phone number is never published.
Where it is kept
The information is stored in the website database on our hosting provider's server and can be seen only by our staff in the password-protected admin area. Photos are stored outside the public part of the website. New messages and quotations are also sent to our company e-mail address, and a quotation is e-mailed to you when you give an e-mail address.
Protection against misuse
To stop automated spam we keep a scrambled code (a keyed hash) of the Internet address a form was sent from, never the address itself, and we limit how many forms can be sent per hour.
Visitor statistics without cookies
We count page views to improve the website. We use no tracking cookies and store no IP address: a visitor is recognised for one day only by a code made with a random key that changes every day and is then deleted. The country is looked up on our own server from a local database. Raw statistics are deleted after 400 days. Visits by our staff and by search engines are not counted.
Cookies
The website sets only the cookies needed for it to work: a session cookie (it keeps your cart and protects the forms against forgery) and a security token. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Other services
Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps open those services, which have their own privacy policies. No content from them is loaded on our pages until you click such a link.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, orders and quotations as long as needed to handle your request and for our business records. You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
